Looking for halal sourdough or halal croissants in Ao Nang, Krabi, or want halal bakery delivered to your door anywhere in Thailand? Here is where Sourdough Thailand’s bread comes from and how to find us.

Del & Dia: a halal café and bakery in Ao Nang

I’m Bang Ib (Surawee Umasa), owner of Del & Dia in Ao Nang, Krabi. You’ll find us near Makro in Ao Nang, serving croissants, sourdough, coffee, food and a wide range of halal bakery, made so that everyone can enjoy it with confidence.

Croissants became a big part of Del & Dia, and over time I became more and more serious about sourdough. That is how Sourdough Thailand started: bread from our kitchen, delivered across the country.

Halal sourdough

Our sourdough is raised with a natural starter we have looked after for more than two years. We mix, ferment, shape and bake every loaf at Del & Dia in Ao Nang. There are two loaves:

  • Signature: classic flavour, fragrant, soft and chewy, easy to enjoy.
  • Whole Wheat: made with whole wheat flour for a richer aroma.

Both are 625 g, pre-sliced, and every loaf ships free within Thailand.

192-layer halal croissants

Our croissants are made with real butter, rolled and folded into 192 layers. The process takes six days from preparing the dough to baking, for crisp, flaky layers outside and a soft, buttery centre. Each croissant is 100 g.

From Ao Nang to Grand Halal Bangkok

I was invited to Grand Halal Bangkok, where I introduced Del & Dia’s baking to visitors, another step in sharing halal bakery from Krabi with more people.
